I'm a natural light film & digital wedding & lifestyle photographer. I have been photographing since 2004 out of Wisconsin, the greater Chicago area, & now throughout Pennsylvania. I like to incorporate multiple types of film cameras (Mamiya 645 medium, Rolleiflex medium, Canon 35mm, & vintage Polaroids) to create a nostalgic look. I love to capture simplicity, romance, purity, & emotion in people & all the little details that bring a story to life. I want to portray timeless photography that will become a family heirloom.
My work has been published on the front cover & in Brava magazine, Ruffled, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, Wisconsin Bride, A Northwoods Wedding, Broadway Paper, & more. I also had the unique opportunity to photograph a former Green Bay Packers players wedding.
I absolutely love these film photos I took when my daughter was a baby! I love the soft, warm window light on her face. They were taken on an old Canon AE-1 with Fuji 400h film. My daughter is now a fiesty 6 year old that thinks she's a teenager so it makes me smile when I look at these!

I created these hand torn deckle cards to use as my photography business cards. I love how they look like antique handmade paper! I thought I'd sell these along with the botanically dyed linen ribbon I made for wedding clients. I was using them just exclusively for clients, but I received so many compliments on both so I thought I'd share! The paper is thicker handmade white paper, but the edges have the deckle look by me hand tearing them. The frayed pulp from the paper making process even shows around the edges. Years ago I learned how to plant dye so I dyed some linen napkins that I sewed & made some linen ribbon! I've been obsessed with all things linen for a long time & I had not seen anyone making linen ribbon before. I thought I'd make some to wrap around wedding albums & proof boxes for clients. I just thought it'd be a fun hobby as well as adding that special, heirloom quality touch. The ribbon is 100% linen that has been hand torn then naturally dyed with cutch. I didn't use a mordant so the color wasn't as strong as it could've been, but I love the dusty rose/dusty salmon color they came out as!
I was just looking through old photos of the antiques I sell & I found these two! I absolutely love taking photos outdoors so it's driving me crazy not being able to yet. Everything is dead, no leaves on the trees, just small buds. I've been staring at the lilac bush by my back door everyday to see how it's growing, but it's still just little leaves. I've been taking my photos on a linen piece of fabric for awhile since it's been winter, but it just isn't the look I wanted so I'm going to start taking them outdoors again! I found this old apple tree near a field which will definitely be in my photos again. Until then I will just stare at the lilac bush waiting for the flowers...
