Jennica Wolf | Heirloom Wedding & Lifestyle Photography

I'm a natural light film & digital wedding & lifestyle photographer.  I have been photographing since 2004 out of Wisconsin, the greater Chicago area, & now throughout Pennsylvania.  I like to incorporate multiple types of film cameras (Mamiya 645 medium, Rolleiflex medium, Canon 35mm, & vintage Polaroids) to create a nostalgic look. I love to capture simplicity, romance, purity, & emotion in people & all the little details that bring a story to life.  I want to portray timeless photography that will become a family heirloom.

My work has been published on the front cover & in
Brava magazine, Ruffled, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, Wisconsin Bride, A Northwoods Wedding, Broadway Paper, & more.  I also had the unique opportunity to photograph a former Green Bay Packers players wedding.

My favorite way of photographing weddings, children, or animals is to step back & quietly observe. I’m not an intrusive obnoxious photographer that will be yelling at you the whole time trying to pose every little thing you do. I’m an introvert, but I feel like the best way to photograph things is to just watch moments happen! I do give a little bit of instruction, but mainly ideas on movements to make to create those special moments like walking or hugging or twirling around in your dress. The best things to photograph, to me, are emotion or moments that weren’t expected especially laughing!

I strive to take quality photos rather than quantity so I don’t have to take a very long time to edit all of the photos once I’m done with a session or wedding. As I’m photographing I’m thinking about the art of photographing rather than just taking pictures. Since I try to take photos intentionally I don’t really do too much editing either. I have some basic editing that I do on almost all photos, but not much. The way I use natural light when photographing almost always makes the skin look so good. I don’t edit out acne or glasses since that would take me so long to do. As for film photographs, film always makes the skin look beautiful so there’s no need for that! I don’t really need to do edits for film.

I love grainy black & white photos! When I use black & white film they will always have a grainy texture so I edit my digital photos to look the same.

"Would we have access to print large files of our wedding photos?”

Yes! Every wedding collection comes with high resolution large files along with a print release so you can print your photos wherever you’d like! Every collection comes with prints from my professional printing lab as well.

“How many photos do you typically take during a wedding day?”

I strive to take quality photos rather than quantity at any photo session or wedding! Since I’m a digital & film photographer I can capture more photos on digital than film so I try to save the more editorial style parts of the wedding day for film then the more candid non-posed photos with digital so I never lose a special moment!

“Do you provide wedding albums?”

Yes, I provide custom flat lay linen covered wedding albums for collection 2 & 3. You can also purchase wedding albums separately or more for family & friends to have. My style is very simple with white backgrounds & simple layout to emphasize the photos.
